Elige un Numero is a fun Spanish quiz-themed game made by Yvette Martinéz Eiffe and Josh Mahon for students of an A1 level to test their skills in basic vocabulary topics. Choose a number to reveal your next quiz question if you dare! 

Designing this PowerPoint-based Spanish quiz game with UDL principles in mind we incorporated a variety of true or false and multiple choice-based questions to aid engagement, and expression to support learners' variability. We used clickable buttons and game-like features such as sounds to indicate a correct or wrong answer to engage learners throughout the quiz. Using Krashen's theory of Second Language Acquisition - we believe we have created a game where beginners are exposed to slightly challenging but comprehensible input through the vocabulary used in this game. They are engaging with the language and receiving immediate feedback on their answers.
